They are both mothers. They are both singers. And they are both fashionistas. The Knowles sisters may be super-tight and share a lot in common, but their styles seem to be polar opposites — and nowhere was that more apparent than on the Grammy red carpet on Feb. 10 at the Staples Center in L.A.

Beyonce, 31, chose an elegant Osman Studio jumpsuit featuring a black and white top and slim black pants for the awards show. Her normally curly hair was worn parted in the middle and slicked back in a smooth ponytail. The only spot of color was the bright red on her lips.

Little sis Solange, 26, meanwhile, couldn’t have looked more different in a shimmering emerald Ralph & Russo Couture gown paired with bright coral heels. She wore her hair extra-big and curly, and her lips were painted a muted, natural color.

Taylor Swift: "I Never Chase Boys" or Yell at Ex-Boyfriends

No one knows more about the many, many Taylor Swift rumors than Taylor Swift herself. In the March issue of ELLE, the singer-songwriter, 22, strives to dispel the misconceptions about her high-profile relationships — and breakups — with the likes of Harry Styles, Conor Kennedy, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and others.

“I’m sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I’m chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him – people love that angle on me,” says the chart-topper, who seemed to make a dig at her most recent ex, Styles, during her Grammys performance on Sunday. “They’re like ‘Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys,'” she says, quickly clarifying: “I never chase boys. They don’t like it!'”

As for the aftermaths of those relationships? The Nashville native insists she’s never been one to get loud or particularly angry. “I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend,” she muses. “Ever. I’m not a yeller. I’m not a fit thrower. If something is done, it’s done.”

One way Swift gets over those splits, of course, is through song, with one track after another reportedly inspired by her men. “To me it’s just writing songs the way I always have,” explains the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer. “It’s me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song, and understanding it better…It’s just something I do to feel better.”

The star tells the magazine that she embraces her insecurity — which was born in middle school. “Middle school was what programmed me be to be semi-insecure, like, all of the time,” she says. “I didn’t fit in . . . I’d stand on the outside of the circle but I was never really in. That’s when I started to realize there’s this thing called rejection.”
